Nin is an oasis of shallow and sandy lagoons and is situated far from the rush of traffic and industrial

zones.

The temperature of the seawater in this protected bay is generally two to three degrees over that of the open sea. The resulting higher salinity in water and air, thereby affects the organism quite positively. In addition, the warmth and the gently running sandy beach are especially appropriate for children.

If you don’t want to have your shoes filled with sand anymore, you can also find gravel and stone beaches nearby, which are typical for Croatia.

Healing mud of Nin

A further characteristic is the healing mud of Nin. Long ago in Roman times people already appreciated its healing effect.

The mud, which is rich of minerals, is suitable for therapeutic purposes and is particularly used as therapy for rheumatic illnesses and skin-diseases.
